I'm always curious as to why I am okay spending a lot of money (relatively) on one item and think twice about spending that same amount on another. An example would be going out to eat. We might drop $20 on a meal and not even flinch. Then in the grocery store, $20 for a few items seems way too expensive! (even though it could last a whole week or even a month for meals at home). I started thinking about this strange phenomenon as I was shipping an order from last week. Here is what I thought about:
The item from mylittleclothesline:
The item from Starbucks:
What do these two have in common?
They both cost $4.00
Now think about it! Some people get a Starbucks every day! Why would you think twice about getting a darling dress, pair of shoes, shirt, pants, etc...for your child?
