We are back from our vacation to MN and feelings are mixed. We're so glad to be back and get on with life, but at the same time we want to be on vacation still with my family! It was a reality check this morning as Russ got up for work and Easton got up for the day at 9:15. Now you might be thinking "shoot! 9:15 isn't that bad!" but that was 9:15 MN time, which is 8:15 AZ time. Granted 8:15 isn't that bad either, but before left to MN Easton wasn't getting up until 10:00!
Some highlights of the trip?
-the triple baptism (Reagan and his cousins Ada and Niklas)
-relaxing in the sun as the snow blows around outside
-Starbucks with my Mom, sister, and sister-in-laws
-my baby smiled! and kept on smiling! and is still smiling :)
So life is not all peaches and cream right?
A lowlight that comes to mind comes as we are about to hit the road back to AZ
-Easton decided he didn't want to wear those warm clean comfy pajamas back to AZ, so he did a number 2 all up his back! sigh.... time to dig into those nicely packed bags and change our first born!
Your baby is adorable! It's always fun to go home and visit the family again!
