Short and not so sweet

For todays blog, let's just say blistering butt rash for my 16 month old and a somewhat fresh circumcision for my 1 week old. Needless to say, I've never dreaded diaper changes this much. Sigh..... :)

Can you beat her price?

Here at mylittleclothesline.com we just put together an order which consisted of 9 pairs of pants, 6 tops, 1 outfit, 2 sleepers, and 3 pair of socks (pictured below). How much do you think she spent? (without shipping).

Look at these darling socks! Sorry, they're sold already :)

Now I have always loved the guessing game. My mother can't stand it and always says, "Just tell what it is! I hate this game!" However, my father has always loved it and will guess at least 3 times (and he puts a lot of thought and logic into it and thinks out loud the entire time). I suppose I should not tell how much she spent until tomorrow, but I know some of you don't like this game either and want instant answers! So, for those of you out there who think like my Mom does, I have put the answer below.

Answer? $18.50!!!!

Can you believe how much she got for under $20.00? More importantly, do you believe you can beat her price? Check out mylittleclothesline.com to see if you too can save at our unbelievable prices!

Why!?

So before I explain my frustrations to you, my beloved audience, let me ask you a simple question. Which set below do you think stays on little boys feet better? (in other words more than 1 second and they don't come back every other second begging you to put them back on?!) *ahem* sorry I'm getting sidetracked.

Okay, so these cute little froggies (or monsters, we're not sure)

Or these annoying little elephants? (okay okay....cute elephants)

So, which ones do you think stay on the feet for as long as the little boy desires? (not to mention as long as the larger than usual pregnant momma desires?)

oh! no! Easton....no! (shoot shoot! I thought I hid those already!!)

Sweetheart.....no! those come off so easy...and......

sigh....okay. Come here... I give up. (where are those froggies!?!?!)

Fantasy Fudge

FANTASY FUDGE
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
2/3 c. canned milk
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 (12 oz.) piece of semi-sweet chocolate
2 c. Kraft marshmallow creme
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, butter and milk in a heavy 2 1/2 quart saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling for 5 more minutes. Stir with a wooden spoon.Remove from heat and stir in until melted, the 12 ounce package of chocolate pieces. Add the marshmallow creme, nuts, vanilla. Stir until well mixed. Pour into 13 x 9 inch butter greased pan. Cut into squares after it cools. Makes about 3 pounds candy.

I was over at my mother-in-laws today and she made some Fantasy Fudge. It is SO DELICIOUS! so if you're looking for a recipe, this is the one you want! Or maybe not. Because I think I ate around....well....they were really small pieces so...on second thought I'm not going to tell you!

Oh! and she doesn't add the nuts. And it's so GOOD that way! so creamy and tasty! Yum!

Okay boys! It's your turn!

I always try to play fair, so it's the boys' turn this time! I will admit that girls' clothes are just a little more fun to "oooo" and "ahhhhh" over! However there are some real gems in the boys' pieces! Check out one below:

Baby Gap 3-6 months

This gorgeous piece almost didn't make it to the site! This is one of our favorite outfits ever! The darling stripes, the color combination, the sweet hood with the tassel, the buttons (instead of snaps) and the overall cuteness was hard to part with!

And yes, we have older boys' as well!

Are you a Gymboree Girl?

If so, you are in luck! I just shot a number of Gymboree pieces and are they darling! However, I have to admit, it was all girl this time (don't worry, I have boy coming....I just can't help myself!) The sizes are mostly from 0-24 month, but I do have some older ones such as the CUTE outfit below:

Gymboree: size 3T

(comes with matching barrettes!)

Okay I can't help myself! (and I love the color green if you can't tell) Here is another one:

Gymboree: size 4T

(comes with brand new matching leggings)

Oh, and I forgot to mention. These are not on the website yet. Don't worry! I will be getting them up there within 24 hours, so be sure to check back often! ;)

So hate is kind of a strong word but....

...this seems to relay the message.  :)

I have a love/hate relationship with Monday's. I love them because I know my husband is home with our son and I don't have to think about anything related to babysitting. I also love it because Russ gets so much done. I don't love it because it's the beginning of the work week, and frankly, I'm coming off a weekend of being with my family and I want to just continue to be with them! Sigh....thus the cartoon above. :)

Happy Monday everyone!

Added product to 6+ girls category!

This gorgeous dress will dazzle everyone. With the long sleeve velvet top and the full two layer skirt, it will also keep your girl warm this season! The skirt also features glitter in the etching around each flower. A velvet flower adds the subtle accent to the waist and the square neckline helps to make this dress unique. Your girl will truly be "Perfectly Dressed" this festive season. Size: 10

It's shipping day again!

And in honor of shipping day, here is a picture of a package under (or rather by) our Christmas tree.

Now I want you to look very closely at the top of the bag. You may notice a few, no make that a lot, of scotch tape (and yes it's from 3M okay Dad?) You might ask yourself, "Now why did she put so much tape across the top?" and then you might conclude, "oh yah! she has a little 16 month boy who gets into everything." If you reached this conclusion, I'm sorry to inform you that actually the tape is NOT because of Easton, rather it is for:

Russell. Yep, that's right. My dear husband has been known to unwrap and re-wrap gifts. He just can't stand the wait! So I'm hoping this will deter him (since I'm bound to notice at least one piece of scotch tape out of place). Sigh.....it's not the kids I have to worry about at Christmas time!
